Well, I'll tell you, the only thing those facts surrounding that 1910 demonstrate to me is, PCGS found itself in a pickle, that tarnish having vanished, right in its hands. They body-bagged what they otherwise knew was an imminently gradable coin for that, and, which still is an imminently gradable coin. I don't know that I'd be too excited at the prospect of putting my trademark behind that coin, either, though, had I seen, too, with my own eyes, just how unstable that tarnish in fact was.
