Well-heeled guests of the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi can now buy gold bars and coins from the world’s first “gold vending machine” within the hotel.
The self-service machine, which is itself 24 carat gold-plated, dispenses 1g, 5g and 10g gold bars, as well as gold coins in gift boxes with designs including Maple Leaf and Kangaroo.
Prices are updated in real time, and all items come with a money back guarantee, offering investors “an opportunity to top up their gold caches”.
Commenting on the launch Janet Abrahams, Executive Director of Sales & Marketing Emirates Palace said:
“Emirates Palace initiated The Gold List earlier this year for guests and visitors to purchase special items to treasure their memories of their visit and provide cherished gifts from the Emirates Palace Boutique.
“The opportunity to include Emirates Palace gold coins from the gold vending machine will be available soon, so whether you are an investor, luxury traveller, or a visitor to this iconic landmark of Abu Dhabi, it is simply the perfect gift.”
So is the Golden Nugget's "Hand of Faith" available for a price?

So you're telling me there's a chance?
The entertainment can never be overdressed....except in burlesque
if it took clad quarters, then you could watch Gresham's Law in action as a simple bystander (come to think of it, you still can with greenbacks)

wow, that picture shows 3 different ways to spend "the cash you win in the casino". 2 of which are really good lookin'.
Too many positive BST transactions with too many members to list.
The article quotes the price for 1 oz at close to spot ("about $1400"), but a screen grab from the video tells a different story...
1g = $60
2.5g = $138
10g = $564
AGE = $1596

Don't many bullion dealers also not take credit cards for these same reasons?
