Hey, did anyone buy this coin From Northeast Numismatics at the FUN show? I tried to pull the trigger when they told me that it was just sold at the show! Dang it

So it may show up on another site or listing, albeit at a higher price.

Two guys that might know (and are at the show) are Mike Hayes and Glenn Holsonbake. Well, Glenn is there. Not sure if Mike is or not. But one of them might know since they are Barber specialists.
Joe: Nice coin. I'm sure you will find another "looker"

I would think the combination of what I mentioned above would preclude an MS 65 grade, unless the coin got a bump for its color.

Elcontador, I think those lines on the neck are toning streaks as seen elsewhere on that coin. The 3 "white dots" on the neck are confusing but I don't think they are tiny digs followed by a hairline scratch. But In any case there must be enough hairlines to limit the grade. The initial look of the coin from the photos is gem.
There are also still plenty of nice looking MS63 Barber halves to choose from out there as it's only collectors looking for them.

FYI - IF I had seen it - it'd be on its way to Naples.
Nice coin.
