interesting silver medallion

I have seen these in bronze but never silver before.... it was made by the metal arts co. of rochester new york.....999 silver about 5 inch diameter and weighs in at 7.625 troy oz.

    I don't collect medals, but I must say, that is a nice design.

    Wow. That's a fat chunk of silver!

    Those are great pieces. Probably melted at $12-13 when it was made.
