Grades in:

1883 5C With CENTS US PR64CAM (was NGC pr65cam - Expected a 64cam)
1908 25C US AU55 (was old anacs AU58 - thought this was going to be an ungrade to ms60)
3982 1937-D 5C 3 Legs US VG08 (was ngc06 - a nice bump.. Happy about this one)
7152 1884-CC $1 US MS63 (raw - was 99% sure this was a 64, with a 20% chance of 64+, oh well)

It seems the MS60 grade is never used. Either the coin grades AU or it grades MS63.

I don't recall physically seeing anything in an MS60 holder that wasn't gold.

Exactly! Furthermore, it seems MS61 and MS62 are just as common (or more so) as MS63 and MS64 when it comes to gold. Not the case for other metals.

  • What! No Pucks??!
  • Is pcgs grading them? I can't imagine the premium on those when they are graded.

What's this quibble about 'market grading' you say?
