One nice thing about the HIGH price of silver

Is cheap-o Franklins. I picked the pair of these up last week for $25.
Some days I feel like I need to stop buying widgets and focus on more
quality pieces, but a large part of my enjoyment in this hobby is still finding nice coins at affordable prices.
The 1958 Accugrade is a decent coin, nice luster & subtle edge toning.
The NTC Franklin is likely not a 66, but is a very clean Franklin.

<< <i>The 63 looks lackluster and possibly AU to me. >>
The photo's do tend to dull the coin quite a bit.
I'm still working on a light setup... these were just shot with daylight from the windowsill.
I'm getting pretty good at Franklins so I'm confident that it's a mint state coin.

<< <i>Maybe. But the downside is that common date Barber Dimes and Quarters in G-VG are worth more for their melt than their numismatic value. I remember in 1980 taking coins like these into a coin shop for their bullion value. Economically, it was the right thing to do, but I didn't feel good about it. >>
Good point.
