    The target audience for this auction IS the specialist collectors who love coins like this.

    Dan Holms had a virtually complete die variety set from 1793 to 1857. In prior auctions the unique or semi-unique coins that Holmes did not have like an early large cent that is in the ANS collection were pictured in the auction catalog so that it could cover every large cent variety.
    Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?
