    Actually, I think people mistakenly believed they'd retire on the appreciation of their proof sets someday.

    actually Jerry ... in the case of several modern issues, the comment may prove to be true (and may have already been proven true)... but only because the metal rose 100%, 200%, etc. over the fairly short term create sensational gains in the process - right?

    And, when and if gold hits $3,000/oz. (hypothetically), the UHR's could possibly be selling close to "melt" ... that is certainly not out of the question IMHO, especially if that were to occur "sooner rather than later". Agree?
