Just completed a mutually great deal (not BST, just privately) with SNMAN, and was thinking about how lucky I am to have found these Boards and the individuals here.
Where else (not really rhetorical) can you send a mid-4-figures check to someone you don't know, after they have located an item you need or want, and never even flirt with an idea of a problem? Only here.
Where else can you gain knowledge, watch others gain knowledge, and become a better hobbyist in all respects? Only here.
Where else can you fraternize with NFL stars, owners of 1913 LibNicks, specialists in early gold, esoteric patterns, or Registry leaders as if they were next-door neighbors? Only here.
I have had a great year on these Boards and have developed relationships with people I may never meet, but who mean a lot to me. Simon (Billet7), Lane (astrorat), Oreville, Shane (KryptoniteComics), John (jdhfla), fivecents, and a host of others have contributed to a great numismatic year. I sit here at a keyboard in Sandy, UT but remain connected to many numismatists who are always ready to help me find something, buy something, or offer advice. Many here give freely of their expertise whereas in any other business area in our world we'd be hitting 'billable hours'. Bravo to you all, including the ones I haven't mentioned. There is trust, honesty, and respect here. I haven't sensed that in many other places.
Time to get ready for the little party, but I'll feel better knowing that I said what I truly meant first, to those who have truly meant so much to my enjoyment of this 'hobby of Kings', even if I may be a small fish swimming with the whales of this hobby. My hat is off to all of you who make this place so much fun. This post will drift down rapidly, but my appreciation to all of you will not.

I too would like to say that I have never had any real problems with any transaction I have done on the PCGS forums, and I have really benefited from the breadth of knowledge and experience found here. I share what I can, and I hope someday I can match the benefits I recieve with the help I give out.
