Most $10 Strikes weigh approx 1.2 t oz & are divided equally between the outer brass core & inner silver core. Therefore .6 t oz is the correct answer for most....however, there are some rounds that weigh less, as such, so does the inner silver core.

Is it safe to assume that the $20 and $40 strikes are 1.2 and 2.4 troy oz?

That would be a mistake...most $20 Strikes have the same weight as the $10 ones.
Some $40 strikes are 1.5 oz silver rounds and do not have the brass outer ring.
