Coinstar find

goldengolden Posts: 10,498 ✭✭✭✭✭
The last several months I have been checking the Coinstar machine at the grocery store where I go.About 2 months ago I found a silver dime but nothing since until now.I go in to the store and look over at the machine. In the reject slot I see something .I walk over to it and see a fist full of coins.I grab them up and head to the car to check them out.Never mind the groceries.I had an even $4 in regular coins plus a silver dime!image

image I remember reading something about a vacuum cleaner at a bank and laughed so hard I choked. I don't have the nerve for this either....

I have just enough nerve for the Coinstar, but wouldn't even consider a vacuum cleaner search.image
Listen. Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony.

Very nice finds! A few months back I was at the grocery store around midnight and checked out the coinstar machine and discovered about 2.00 worth of rejected lincoln's?! Never could figure out why all of them ended up in the reject slot, but I wasn't complaining. You bet I grabbed every last one of them. My pockets were ringing like jingle bells.

Oh, to be a Coinstar servicer. The ignorant will drop any and all in there, I figure.

After all the looking I have done at reject slots on Coinstars, with NO results, I would be happy with a Chuck E. Cheese token...image Cheers, RickO
