What'd you get for Christmas?

now that Christmas is all over with, I think it is time for those of us there received cards to show off our new acquisitions! I am currently working on the 1941 Play Ball set, and am down to a measly seven cards to finish it. Needless to say, the cards that I need are the ones that are more pricey. My wonderful mother filled in a void in my set for Christmas. I got the Pee Wee Reese rookie card! The numerical grade is not the highest, but the card has excellent eye appeal. There are no creases. The only thing that I can see would detract from the grade is the lower right corner being bent a little bit. I have been a Dodgers fan since I was born, and I was ecstatic to finally get this card. So what did you fine gentlemen score this Christmas? Let's see some pictures!

I got a lump of coal. It was low sulfur , so the Gore-bots should rejoice. The only problem I had was that it glowed in the dark. Not sure what that means , but could be a potential future energy source.

    Nothing card related.

She has asked, but I've told my g/f that it is best not to get me anything card/memorabilia related because I don't want her to get ripped off buying a gift for me.

Didn't get anything card or collectible related for Xmas this year and that is just fine. One gift I thought was very cool of my wife to get me was a little mini pocket video camera that is waterproof...My wife thought that would be perfect for taking videos and pics of my son when I take him fishing.

    GREAT pickups. CONGRATS!

Edited to add: For a minute I thought you had a great bonus with a Hank Aaron coin ... until I realized it was Ron Hansen.

I bought myelf a case of 2008 Topps Chrome Football. Cases are reasonable and the rookie selection is strong on the offensive side of the ball.
