I suspect my daughter will keep her coins (she's 11) and pass them along to her children... I just hope my son (9) will too, although he seems to be the consummate businessman.

I'm with Bear on this...can't even sell a common date UNC roll for silver value even at $30/oz. Conserving the UNC for future collectors. And maybe a future profit.

Nah, last year about this time I was at Forward Operating Base Dwyer in Helmond Province Afghanistan. Slept real good at night on that base in a real hot region knowing that the Marines were watching things.

Those guys and gals are unsung heroes.

I'll buy off on conservators (and mighty fine ones are we).

But I'm with you in the spirit of your post without a doubt.
