    The hero of that thread was buffaloirontail. There's a guy with some serious knowledge about buffalo nickels. And he's a very nice guy.

    Great thread, thanks. I would love to watch someone with that "talent" make one of their fakes, as reprehensible as altering coins is, that is amazing work.

    At the ANA Summer Seminar they have a class on counterfeit coins. In that class you get to see many coins like this. If you have not gone to Summer Seminar. I strongly recommend it.
