    Is "Steve's Coins" Steve Vorcheimer?

If so, I have dealt with him.

Yes, that's the Steve I am inquiring about.

Anyone know if he deals with classic coins or only modern stuff?

    Thanks

Steve will handle a classic coin now and then, but the more modern stuff is his bread and butter. He is an honest dealer, and I would recommend him.
Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

    Thanks for the info Bill.

By chance, would you have a contact phone # for him?

    Thanks,

    Sadly I don't.

I'd have to go diving though my old purchase invoices which would take forever. He should have a website.

Actually, he only has a general "help me" email on his website but no phone #.

Hopefully, they check their email daily.

    Thanks anyway image

Assuming you're talking classic coins, why would you go out of your way to deal with someone who:
    1. deals primarily in moderns
    2. makes contacting him somewhat difficult ?

I've sold classic coins to Steve. I'm confident that the OP knows what he is doing. And he already got some positive character references. He didn't ask for a posse.

Steve does do a lot with Modern coins, but he will buy and sell just about anything. He does a tremendous volume of business.
