1982 and 83 Wrestling All Stars on EBAY from wcsports1...

If you guys want to see some action there will be plenty in two days when this run of cards ends.

There are a few in this auction that will blow up as they are either a Pop 1/1 or someone else owns the other card and is not selling.

The Mil Mascaras is a super tough card and so are a few others.

I am bidding of course and hope to win some but with recent bidders showing up some of the graded cards I need are getting up there to win.

Forget the wrasslin' cards from this seller, if you want some REAL action pull up their Bobby Orr PSA 5 USA Test card and just look at it. Simply beautiful.
  • I can't wait, less than 24 hours to go until the real fun starts. I'm getting that Mascaras card no matter what it costs.

I am sure to your surprise I am not going to go after the Mascaras card. I have three PSA 9OC and I am going to crack them out and try and re sub first.

There is a very strong chance I will not win many cards tonight.

The Bruiser Brody is a very tough card. The Ricky Steamboat is super tough and a few others.

Don't be surprised if a few of these really blow up.

The only way to get PSA 9's and 10's are from sealed sets and they just are not surfacing and trust me an 82A and 82B sealed would reach big prices like the last sets of $1,450 and $425 a piece.

The worst part about sealed sets is you can pull EX 5's all day with heavy corner damage or a surface wrinkle and many cards are off centered almost all of the time.

This will get interesting to say the least.

It will be interesting to see how these finish. Some fresh buyers coming in today and there could be some serious snipe's tonight.

The number I am winning is dropping fast.
  • My snipe is set at 500 on Mascaras, I better get it. The candles are lit and the baby oil is waiting. This is gonna be a fun night.

I got the Sheik for $76. A bargain being that I wanted to buy it from someone here last week for $150+. Also got the '85 Animal Steele card.
  • Dpeck100Dpeck100 Posts: 10,912 ✭✭✭✭✭
You wanted to buy it from me. It was a bargain at $76, the difference is I already have two of those cards in PSA 10 and so did Brasky who was another bidder in these auctions. If that card had been auctioned when less cards were up the price would have been much higher. There was a lot to choose from and buyers have to put their cash towards the cards they need or want the most.

I think you got a great deal and I am glad you won the card. The population reports surged and are now slowing in general. There are more cards to be subbed but you will see the supply of graded worthy cards subed is just not poping up right now.

Nice job and tuck that baby away!

Thanks for the info! That's a keeper for me Dpeck. I would also like to get a Ventura in a 10... I wonder what an '82 Hogan in a PSA 10 would go for?? Great cards from a great auction. I also purchased another '86 fleer PSA 8 Jordan from him yesterday so shipping only cost me an extra $.50 each card.
  • Dpeck100Dpeck100 Posts: 10,912 ✭✭✭✭✭
I don't think a PSA 10 Hogan is coming. The reason I wanted the Mascaras is the first three cards are the yellow one's and top to bottom centering may never allow for a 10.

A PSA 10 Hogan will go for $5,000+.

    I don't ever see a PSA 10 surfacing. You may see a BGS 9.5 but not a PSA 10.

King that is great! There were some nice cards up for auction and a lot so a few nice deals ocurred.

I won a decent amount but I did not pursue a lot of the cards very seriously and let a few go for less then I normally would have.

I won the Mascaras, The Bruiser Brody, Greg Valentine, Gino Hernandez, Scott Casey, Ken Lucas, Baron Von Rascke, Jacque Goulet, Pat Paterson, Bobo Brazil and Tully Blanchard.

There were a few others I really wanted but I made a large purchase of these recently and felt it was best to put in a price and stick with it.

There have not been any large movements in the pop reports for a few weeks and that means it will be some time before new one's come on. There are three dealers subbing these to PSA and putting them on EBAY.

Overall I was very pleased with what I won and glad to see many of the cards sell for strong prices.

There are some more Wrestling All Stars on EBAY. I bought a large number of cards from him a few days ago direct that I will have soon and he listed the rest of the cards he had.

There are some nice one's out there and I expect the Snuka 10 to do well.
