Is it easier to get a plus grade when submitting coins through the SecurePlus tier?

Seems like it. I hardly see any + grades come through the regular system.

Now, what kind of a question is that? image

    I got one. A 64+ on an 1888 Morgan.

I don't see why it would be any easier to get plus grades when submitting through the Secure Plus tier. And of the coins I have resubmitted for clients, I haven't noticed any difference.

I don't submit many coins but out of my last 8 sent on regular submission 2 of them got +'s. I was happy.

That is ridiculous. If a coin deserves a +, it will get a +, no matter which tier. Cheers, RickO

The coins I have submitted are all the normal tier, so I don't get the plus. The plus I did get was on a free quarterly submission.

Should it matter???? Should the coin get a "+" if it's deserving of one regardless of how it's submitted???? This is just one of many reasons why I don't put a helluva lot of stock into this "+" game, sorry.

In theory, no. In practicality having submitted a large number of coins for Secure Plus designation, IMHO.....a very strong yes.

But did you submit an equally large number of regrades via a non Secure Plus tier at the same time and get noticeably different results? If not (on all counts), your results probably don't have any significance with respect to the OP's question.

Recently I submitted 19 CAC Morgans for a regrade under the regular tier. One came back with a plus.
