Buyer protection now includes shipping & handling fees, but not return s&h fees.

Because everyone else plays by the rules.
    Because it's not fair.
Because the seller agreed to terms.
    Because I'm a shareholder.

Could you buy it then get a charge back on the amount of shipping charged by the seller vs what was actually spendt? image
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

Because what he fails to pay is absorbed as additional costs by those of us that DO pay.

  • The seller was doing the same thing on another item. I reported both as well. Just my opinion, but sellers who do this kind of thing are people I won't buy from if I know about it. They have agreed to follow eBay policies by listing their items. If they intentionally try to violate that agreement for more profit, what reason would I have as a buyer to think they will have any higher ethics towards me? Personally, I would like to see lower eBay fees on numismatic items and I have sent messages to eBay saying so on several occasions, but people should honor their agreements whether on eBay or elsewhere.

Because it drives up the fees for those that play by the rules.

I am actually temped to buy this and demand ground shipping, if he doesn't comply then I report him. PS It is hard to believe after all these years Ebay does not have an automatic script checking this simple abuse. This is like Computer programming 101.

i dunno when you go through the PayPal process that you can make any changes to the sellers fees/conditions
  • You pay $19.95 for the ending bid "Buy It Now" and you also pay $1550 for the insurance and shipping cost of the face value of the 1oz 999.99% gold. I almost went for that one! Then I read the fine print
