Never believe an owner when they say they have no interest in making a coaching change, one day later and Josh McDaniels is out the door.

McDaniels probably figured he was finished in Denver.
Raw: Tony Gonzalez (low #'d cards, and especially 1/1's) and Steve Young.
Always buying Bobby Cox inserts. PM me.

<< <i>He made some crazy...almost illogical moves in his time there. Like throwing away their quarterback, when the last game he played in was the Pro Bowl. >>
Keep in mind, Cutler *ASKED* for that trade. He got all pissy when other teams contacted the Broncos about a three-way deal that would have sent Matt Cassel to Denver. The Broncos turned down that trade and told Cutler he wasn't being traded. His response to that was to ASK for a trade.
How'd that work out for Denver? They got two first rounders, a third, and Kyle Orton in return. The same Kyle Orton who is on pace to set every team passing record for the Broncos this year.
You can knock McDaniels for lots of things but the Cutler trade is NOT one of them.
Tabe
However, since my team finally won the Superbowl in 1998 (and #2 in 1999) I have mellowed and do not get as riled up when the Broncos are lousy. Too much other stuff going on [wife, kids, work] to get in a funk over a psorts team.
That said, I sure hope that the Broncos find a coach who can get the team back on track. I am used to Denver being a contender for the AFC West Crown each year [well not since 2005] and participating in the playoffs. Sure would be nice to see them stomp on the Raiders regularly again
Unfortunately Denver has recently been stomped by the Silver & Black.
