Can the Ebay experts tell me if shill bidding occured in this auction I was bidding on???

    No...I was bidding though. Isn't $60 a bit out of the ordinary for this card in Mint 9?

    I'm curious what looks odd to you. I'm trying to learn to spot shilling, but it just looks like a noob bidder to me.

    I don't think you were shill bid. There is a bidder who bids on my cards that does the exact same thing. Even when he is the high bidder, he will put in bid right after bid and only in like 50 cents increments. I am thinking he really wanted the card. He tied the VCP high. I doubt very seriously you will get a 2nd chance offer. If you DO, then I might would suspect shill bidding.....

    Yeah, it's probably not...I guess I just saw that the high bidder was bidding on several more of this sellers auctions...I guess I'm just mad that I didn't win!!!! image I'll get over it! image

    Looks like a snipe at the end. In my opinion, it was just an aggressive new bidder and not a shill...

    Well, at first glance you have a low feedback bidder all over the page, but after digging in you can see that it most likely was not a shill, just an an aggressive new bidder as otw said.

    IMHO, definitely not a shill. Lots of these come up for auction in PSA 9. You should easily snipe one for $40, if patient.
