Need info on 1996-W Roosevelt dime

I searched on previous threads but wasn't completely satisfied.
I know the 1996-W is one year issue and the only dime with the W mintmark. Am I right?
I also read that it was sold in the Mint set. But, which one? I mean, all the other coins have the P and D mintmarks and both the dimes were W?
How much would you pay for just one coin (mint sealed)? What's its price today?
Any info is appreciated.
Thanks!

You can find them on ebay slabbed or raw.
<< <i>You can get the 1996 mint set on eBay for $15 - $20, which will include the 1996-W dime, still mint sealed. >>
That is your best bet!Cheap!

BUT, make sure the set you are buying INCLUDES the 1996-W dime. Some sets have had the 1996-W dime removed (which was easy, since it was in its own one-coin mylar wrap.) Especially do this if you are acquiring one locally.

unless I had it in hand, can grade very well, and think it had a chance at MS68FB or higher
If you want just the dime and not the full set, don't pay more than $10 for it. Remember if you decide to buy a full 1996 mint set, you get $1.82 face value in other coins so you could always cash those in as sort of a cash-back rebate

I just bought one for $12.00 off my coin shop bid board last week. Still in the mylar wrapper. Pristine. No marks at all.
term mint set buyers. It also marks the 50th anniversary of the Roosevelt dime.
There was only a single "W" mint dime inside the envelope which was packaged
separately from the Philly and Denver coins.
This dime comes very nice with near gems being typical. Gems and choice gems
tend to be common. Very high grade gems in PL exist.
