4/10, but I missed a couple of answers by only about a trillion $'s or so. Some where too close to call.

This is what it said about my results: "You clearly know enough about the debt situation to know that it's a concern, but not so much that it ruins your social life."

6/10 and received the same quote. The answers to the questions I missed were even more alarming than I thought. We're in bad shape for sure! image

8/10 but several of those were swags. On a bad day could have been 5/10.

4/10 not good. them are stagging figures out there. what a shame
  • 5/10

I guess what this reiterates is that the only answer is to devalue the dollar. The timeline is the only question left to answer but at some point (probably soon) our PMs will easily be double or triple what they are now.

This quiz has a lot of explaining to do. Not like I am a fan of the current administration, or in any way think we are not in a sorry state, but stating that our debt repayment is 42% of out outstanding debt over the next 5 years at current rates is just down right ridiculous. This is sensationalism and if you had even a marginal sense of economics and finance you should get many of these wrong, because they are wrong.

I know, it must be true because it was on the internet.

  • Q: What percent of the deficit projected for 2020 will be due to interest payments alone?

    A: 73%

If true and it does happen, there is no way to correct that ship.
