HOF Voting Contest -- Guess Bagwell's Percentage

As a baseball HOF collector, I anxiously await the BWAA voting each year. It looks like Blyleven and Alomar are locks this year but after that it's anyone's guess.
The Bagwell vote should be particularly interesting. I thought I'd have some fun and run a contest around his voting results.
The closest to Jeff Bagwell's BWAA voting percentage wins this;

Please make your prediction below to two decimal places (I'll round if otherwise). One vote per ID and you may change by editing your post prior to the deadline. The contest ends 24 hours prior to the announcement (last year it was January 6).
Also feel free to make your case for/against within this thread. Personally, I think he will ultimately get in (year 2 or 3) and set the under/over for this year's voting at 62%.
Enjoy.

Not even McGwire could break the 30% mark his first, second, third, or even fourth years! There will be probably the same sentiment toward Bagwell.

Thanks for the contest
Thanks!
Steroid allegations will hamper his chances, he may never get in. Alomar not being voted in last year because of one isolated incident is a joke; he makes it this year. Maybe Bert too?

McGwire get humiliated in front of the nation with the "Don't want to talk about the past" thing. Bagwell did not.
Bagwell didn't fail a PED test, lie under oath, plead the 5th, or get named in a Federal investigation.
I'm interested to see what happens. I say 45+%.

Jeff Bagwell........8 X 100+ RBIs in 15 seasons, 29.93 HRs/season, .297 career average, 488 2Bs, 1529 RBIs, 7797 ABs, 1558 SOs, 202 SBs
Id say 51.67% first year, but he gets in within 4 years.

But Bagwell played in a water down pitching era TOday's stats cannot be compared to older players, in which less teams meant better pitchers every day vs. today's weaker #4 and #5 pitchers. These 4 & 5's would have never made it to the Majors in the 50's and 60's.

Dont want to derail the post but had to comment, I had 2 reasons for posting the comparison of Mantle/Bagwell,
first to point out that Bags stats are solid, but mainly to point out that Mantle is very overrated, especially for a cleanup hitter (lack of RBIs) on the best team in baseball ....
Mickey ONLY faced starters on 4 days rest, NO closers, NO setup men or specialists, no cutters, no splitters, far far LESS Latin/Asian/College seasoned players, etc. and dont say Bags lived in the steroid era, the pitchers used steroids too and are far stronger now (understatement), and I can tell you for fact the players today are in far better shape (many own million dollar home gyms) and are far more talented overall than those chain smoking daily drinkin' skinny (many sickly looking) kids from the 1950-60s, who never saw a benchpress or stairmaster and could care less what they ate.
If you dont know it by now.... I will always dog Mickey Mantle/Yankees every chance I can... and its not hard to do so....
Since you have posted about every stat known to man regarding Mantle.....could you please post his On Base %.
Thanks,
Mickey71
