POLL: Which duplicate merc to keep for the set?

I have been working on a date run of two sided toner mercs in gem and above for quite a while now. I picked up my second to last coin today and in the process added a second duplicate. Which 1944 dated coin should I keep for the set given that the set is focusing on two sided color, originality and eye appeal, of which I consider luster and color to be the most important, in that order? I am normally pretty decisive on which coin to include, but these are troubling me. The other coins currently in the set are included for display. They may help in voting.
The 1941 (MS67FB) was a very nice gift and currently resides in the set, but I am looking for something that has more even and complete toning.

#1, #3, #2.
All look nice and #2 does have the best strike.

The 1940-S and 1943-S pieces are just killer. Thanks for sharing.
We'll use our hands and hearts and if we must we'll use our heads.

Coin 2 is tilted in the bs NGC slab and did not photograph as well as the first 44S. I bet the 44D is just hammered strike wise.
BTW the 40S is a hell of a color coin.

Many successful BST transactions with dozens of board members, references on request.
I'm really really confused about coin#2 being blah. I'm trying not to say anything negative about that response. However, I'll happily buy that man's rejects.
My favorite in the entire group was the 40P. An 80's S$1 that looked like that would be worth 10K+, Is anyone else here familiar with the acronym MFG?
I pick #2 John. I don't like #1 much. #3 may be killer in hand?

I like the stike and luster on coin 2, but I'm wondering if the two hits on the fasces would keep in out of a 67 holder at our host.
Coin 3 has decent color and strike, and a cool die crack extending through the neck.
I think I would go with coin 1.
