Is there any chance

That we could create a monthly thread for current events that MAY or MAY NOT effect the pm market? All current event type posts could go into that folder. Right now if you were an outsider and looked at the first page you might think that this is a SHTF Forum and not a PM forum. I hate censorship so I have no problem at all with the posts, but at the same time I would love to have it condensed in one folder. Just a thought. MJ

Since PM prices move in reactionary fashion, I doubt PM strategies
can be discussed without noting the sundry events that cause such
movements.
It is fashionable to think that there are "fundamentals and technicals"
in play, but the fact is that events shape/influence those factors.

I tend to agree. Although it might be much "cleaner" to pigeonhole such discussions into one thread, I'd be surprised if you could keep the causal factors from being discussed with the market reactions.
I knew it would happen.

It's worth a shot if people think it's a good idea.

Or maybe just convince him to limit his blog links to just one thread titled "Goingbroke's Daily News"

We are consevatives, liberals, don't give a flip's, beer bait and ammo, champaigne on the Rhine, kind of guys/gals, there's a lot of different folk here. The one thing that unites us is gold, silver, economic news and coins and, of course, metal porn. If we need a separate thread to talk about fundamentals and sociopoliticoeconomic thingies then I would support that. As a side benefit, we would likely attract fewer drive-by trolls, flippers, bozos, and whatnots if we stayed on topic.
