"winter mix" today. Wasn't horribly cold - low/mid 30s, but everything was like a sheet of ice and the ground is pretty much frozen. Might try once more in a grassy area hoping it kept the ground warm.

My plan was to get out Black Friday afternoon. However the kids decided to go shoping and let the grandparents do the babysitting. So I had to wait until today. I detected a hillside by a football field and found $12.58 in 31/2 hours. The weather was great for a change so it worked out pretty good for me. And I did get to play with the little ones one more day and that was worth it too.
