Fantastic Collection Found!!! --- Hockey Update!

Hey Guys!
So about 2 years ago my friends uncle died, image But my friend happened to inherit his modest baseball card collection. 2 years ago he told me to come over to his house to tell him if the cards were worth anything, and I can't tell you the amount of times I have been disappointed with binders of 1991 score, but needless to say this was different. There are only a few boxes but the cards blew my mind! I helped him grade and sell a few a couple of years ago but now I am helping him with the more expensive items and I included a few scans for your viewing pleasure image

Other Highlights not scanned:
1952 Berk Ross Complete Set - The Mantle graded 5.5
1963 Topps Complete Set - Missing the Rose RC
7 1968 Topps Action Stickers Complete Sheets - W/ 3 Clementes, 2 Mays and a Mantle
Several Complete bazooka boxes - 1962 clemente, 1963 clemente, 1963 Koufax
About 50 more HOF tobacco cards not shown below!

    Sorry, no 91 score image

Not much post war, other than the bazooka, 63 Topps and 52 Berk Ross but here are some Post-War Highlights from the collection.

I had some berk ross graded last year to introduce him to grading and to show him the differences between grades and the importance of PSA. lol

  • Your timing is very good on those Clemente Bazooka boxes. There are a couple different set builders looking for these boxes, you should be able to maximaize a very nice return on those.
  • That is a whale of a "modest" collection. I have been looking for a Bender Ju Ju Drum from awhile. Nice to see one. Good luck with it.

As for when and where, I am probably going to sell of a lot of the items I don't need graded sometime within the next few weeks on ebay or via the boards. As for the tobacco cards and high end stuff, I'm going to get it graded and hit up ebay/boards and the true white whale cards I'll consign to auction houses.

And sorry, no 1960 topps, there is a VG Mccovey All Star card but thats about all I've seen so far.

Dang, my internet is extremely slow right now, I could only get 1/2 of maybe 10 scans to load, will have to look later...

FUNNY, how you mention the Berk Ross, Topps, and Bazooka cards, I almost didnt look beyond that.
Thats like bragging about the Ford in the driveway when you have a classic Ferrari in the Garage image

Nice T216-1-1 Cobb, they are prob over 250X rarer than the very common T206 Cobbs

also saw the T216-2 Plank, very nice! and very rare! .....at least 10X rarer than the T216-1-1 mentioned above

and another extremely rare card, the E286 (ju-ju), couldnt see the whole pic so dont know the player, very tough!

Also the T215 cards are big time too, didnt see the whole pic though.

Hope you really know what you guys have there ?? image

Some of the stuff I saw (beside the common T206 and R320 cards) should be graded and sold only in a major auction house IMO

will have to look later at all the scans... dang jungle wifi image

Very awesome cards, and not to be mean to anyone here but don't sell anything rare or prewar before you do alot of investigating. Those sticker panels and Bazooka boxes could bring alot more than people realize.

Selling the common post war stuff is a no brainer and you will most likely do better here than on Ebay due to the fees.

I just hate to see someone see something and then find out that it was cut up and graded and was worth now 10000x more than it was bought for.
