I submitted a 15 card order in late October (PSA received it on 10/27/10) got my graded cards back within 2 to 3 weeks.
It was a $10 per card special submission.

No problems here on the wait time issue.

I sent in 50 cards for the $4.50 Special in late October. Cards were received at PSA on Nov 1st and grades were listed on PSA Website today Nov 17th.

Sounds great. I'm sure it won't be much longer.

From my experience for the last 2-3 months, the current wait time is 2-3 weeks (even for the cheap specials) UNLESS you have game used / auto cards / thicker cards in your submission. Then the wait time is multiple months. The reason seems to be that PSA is still waiting for the holders to come in from their supplier for these cards and/or they are in very low supply.

Hmmm? I guess I'm the lucky one here! Five weeks plus & counting.

I've been informed that I may need to wait up to 45 business days. Maybe the grades will make the wait time seem worth it.

my experiences have been that submissions with the same type items, all 1991 Topps baseball for example take less time than submissions with a mixed bag of cards.....I'll find out shortly since I have two submissions on the way and both have multiple items from different years and sports in them....one has non sport mixed with hockey and the other has mostly football with some baseball mixed in as well...

Yeah, mine was a bit of a mixed bag but only (15) total cards. Of well, maybe another 1 1/2 weeks?

PSA received my 75 Topps on November 23rd, Grades popped last night 11/30/10. Very good considering Thanksgiving is mixed in there. All cards were same year and brand issue so i'm sure that helps.

Wow, it's amazing the wide variations in processing times. I was getting set up to wait weeks for my Nov Special sub (50 cards) that I sent on 11/30. Here are my results(!!!):

    Date received: Dec 7
    Date shipped: Dec 9

    imageimage

What makes the difference in processing times?? I sent an order for the '56 thru '63 sets @ $4.50 each. Perhaps mistakes in filling in the form(s) and/or payments calculated incorrectly slow things down so dramatically?

    I did 3 subs.

The 1956-1963 came back in 5 days.

I am still waiting for the pre 1956 and my "5 day" sub of cards over $100.

I do not mind waiting for the 45 day stuff, it is the 5 day sub that is making me insane.

The people that grade the 56-63 cards must not have been on vacation during the last couple of weeks.

Anyone experiencing a delay with submissions being logged in? My sub was dlvd at PSA on Monday, 12/6, but hasn't been logged in yet. Anyone else have a longer wait than this?

Mine was delivered 12/2 and logged 12/7. I called and they said that I did not write my service level on the outside of the package, so it goes into the queue. They got slammed at the end of November due to the specials, so it was a big queue.

Thanks for replying to my post...that makes me feel a bit better. I looked back on my records, and I noticed that in 2009 I had a 13-day delay (the longest I ever had), but usually my sub is logged in within a day or two of receipt, so you come to start expecting that after a while, I suppose..

Now that I think about it, I didn't write my service level on the package this time either. Oops! There was a little delay from when the package was delivered and then finally entered into the system.

Can't wait to get the package. It's got some '62Topps green tint PSA 7s included which I need to (nearly) finish my Basic and Master sets. Down to one card needed to complete them both <subliminal message: let me know if you have a #400 Elston Howard in PSA 7 or 8>! image

so were mine- a couple of them were crack outs that dropped 3 grades. I think they are just flipping thru without even properly looking. Between the grading and the slow service I'm going to hold off on the next few submissions.
And to make it a perfect 3rd strike, there was a mechanical error- Hoffman doesn't appear in E91c, as it was labeled. Only in E91b

Sorry you to hear about the bad service you got.

I've got a 182 card submission I sent under the review special. It was logged on November 5 and I'm being told I can expect another 19 business days. With Christmas and New Years just around the corner, that could put me into February until I get my cards back.
