What do you do if........

...... you see 2 fat guys in a target feeling up packs to try and snag all the insert cards?

Yesterday I was in target near Raleigh and was sick to see 2 nasty fat old trolls feeling up all the packs for thick patch or insert cards in each rack and pack. It was disgusting to see. In fact I wouldn't want to buy any packs these 2 nasty guys had been touching.

I was half tempted to alert the store security by saying. Hey see those two guys over there? I just saw both of them scratching their ass with their fingers then feeling up the packs in a sexual manor right in front of my 4 year old son. Isn't there anything you can say or do to these guys to get them to stop?

I just walked away but I was very annoyed to see these guys doing this. I mean how can lil ones get into the hobby if they can't have a shot at opening a pack and getting a good hit?

What would you do?

  • Well people are always going to be searching packs.

Imho just alert management you think potential theft is going on or something- And if anything I'm SURE they have cameras on the isle and something will be said to them moving the cards around inside the packs and whatnot.

I have steered clear of the one walmart near me because of that image Someone goes every time they put out new packs and most are gone.

Ask them what their CU handle was?

  • I don't go anywhere without my mini digital camera. So I would have started videoing them and antagonizing them at the same time.

almost correct. The correct question would be, "what was your original CU handle?"

No it was in a target outside of Raleigh NC.

Next time I will take pics and post them. I didn't think of it at the time. I have a camera on my cell.

  • All the pics and/or videos you take and post won't stop them. My simple rule is to never buy loose packs.
  • Funny thing is in the past i only have bought boxes. After seeing this. I will only continue to purchase boxes...

I would mind my own business...

I would let the store owner/manager deal with it...

usually the managers won't do anything, except ask them to stop, and that's if they even comprehend the issue.

sadly just don't buy loose retail.

Ask them if their same attitude towards the rest of the world is what has made them fat and nasty, kick them in the nads and then run.

This is always going to happen. Even if you turn one person in there will be 500 more. And is it even against store policy to feel the packs? The manufacturer should do something so no one could tell what was inside the packs. They would probably sell far more retail packs if they did that.

I'm confused. Did it take place at Target, or at a sexual manor?

always looking for 1969 graded basketball
  • walk over and tell them not to waste their time searching the packs, because you beat them to the punch and searched the packs yesterday and got all the good cards.

or go over to them and pull a scene from the body snatchers point at them and start screaming.

or tell them to wait there as the police has been called and they want to question them about a sports card thefts in this area. imageimage
  • Sometimes you'll get a manager; thinks he's Charles Bronson. So you gotta break that son of a b*tch in two. If he doesn't tell you he's going to stop the pack searchers, cut off one of his fingers. The little one. Then tell him his thumb's next.

After that he'll tell you if he wears ladies' underwear.

My Target here in Glendale, CA hardly carries baseball cards anymore. When I asked about baseball cards to store employees, they did not know why they were no longer available. I guess the pack searching might of made them discontinue selling them.

I was grabbing a couple packs of Topps Update at the Wal-Mart near work this week....

I looked at the gravity feed of one of the new Panini products (Epix, maybe?). Some terd had not only isolated the "thicker" packs (that you could see the difference with the naked eye), but had taken it upon himself to open the thicker packs to see what was in them.

    Keep it classy, d-bag.
