Neither of the phone numbers they provided paypal work... I found that out after paying with paypal. Im protected with paypal, so I figured for $765... It was no big deal. Worst case my money is tied up for a couple weeks.

Make sure you get it assayed if and when you receive your bar. My gut feeling tells me it's not gonna be what you paid for.

Mapquest shows a street with no houses or business facing. Just block walls in a residential subdivision.
The 360 feature shows it clearly. No much of a chance that I'd find anything at that address. Let me
know if you want me to drive over and see what I can see.

  • Just "drove by" on Google Earth. It appears to be a outdoor mall / strip mall type address. 5975 S. Sandhill Road needs to include a unit or suite number to be accurate from what I see.
  • Here's the overhead view of the "strip" mall.

Not a strip mall or anything related to business. Those are apartment buildings on the left and single
family homes on the right. Sandhill is running from the top of the page to the bottom or N/S. Strictly
a residential neighborhood. Block (concrete) walls border Sandhill along the entire street in this area.

  • It's 5795. You may be looking at 5975.

Here's the Google "drive by" of the business. The address is visible on the front of the building.

I copy/paste from website the address. I really know nothing more.

Yes, AUandAG had transposed the 7 and 9 in the address in his post. The pic is of the websites address at 5795.

The bad news is the business pictured is FOR RENT. (It is a strip mall however so there could be, and probably are, more businesses with this address.

Nah, it's 5975 per the "contact" information at the bottom of their web page.

No listing for a business at that address in reverse directory. No phone number
for that address in either white or yellow pages. Also nothing for their name.
    Nada, zip, zero.

both AUandAG and gsa1fan are saying they did the cut-n-paste.

the USPS says 5975 isn't an address but 5795 is.

I emailed the following to the contact email on their website. Let's see what, if any,
    response I might get.

I'm here in Las Vegas. Could you give me your address so that I can arrange to
pick up some silver in person? Directions would help as well.
    thanks,

  • $24.60/oz, what if, just what if he or she bought a bunch of kilo's (only 30 available per their site) and they bought in at say $10/oz. Time to retire or financial problems and say, hey let's sell the silver at a good price so we can get the money we need so our house isn't foreclosed on and we have enough money for the mortgage, food and gas for a year because we can't seem to land a job with the 10% unemployment! "But honey they will pay us $27.50 at the shop down the street, lets do that!" " I hear you honey but if we sell 10k worth the IRS will be all over us and we'll have to pay all of those capitol gains tax which is more than $3/per ounce." "Smart thinking sweetie!"

Ever cross your mind, people sell coins all the time for 20-30% back of bid because the dealer states that no one wants them, but they need to put food on the table.

Think it through, who said it was illegal to sell silver out of your house? How do you know they don't have the zoning permits?

Honestly there are only a few dealers where I live, lets say I have 1000 oz's to sell, take it to the shop and have the IRS big stick no grease it when the coin shop, by law must report you- or sell it bar by bar on the internet via of ebay and pay the fee's which are BS or you have a computer development acumen and make your own site so you save the fee's too, what would you do?

Not advocating tax evasion, just stating a scenario. Tax evasion pops out at me more than fake bars or scam

Hahaha. Im not worried. I was able to pay through paypal, and since they are verified, Its covered under paypal protection. Ill get my money back if I dont get it. Thats why I bought the kilo one... and not the 100ozers. It was only $775... so completly covered.

    Edited to add:

When I did a copy/paste into google earth... I got nothing close to what you guys posted... I was in a neighborhood, and it was right on a house from what I could tell.

No response from last nights email (did not come back undeliverable) so will grab some cash
and take a ride across town. Hopefully they are legit and you can all get on board. But, we'll
see about that. Should be able to let you all know in an hour or two.

Okay, here's the update: Nevada Secretary of State has Premium Stuff International in default LINK
Upon driving over to the address (5795 is the correct address) this is what we found
    image

Entering the bldg we find lots of suites both occupied and vacant and this suite:
    image

Going next door to a CPA office we talk with Barbara who calls the owner of the
suite next door (it was closed).
We get the Registered Agent's wife on the phone and find out that Premium Stuff International
in fact is a client of theirs. We find that they are in default with them too!. So, we asked the
obvious: Who, where and contact number and get this:
Joseph Dunning in New Zealand at +64-3-3883132 phone
Did not try to contact Mr. Dunning. Seems iffy to me. Shady at best and likely a scam but then
    maybe not?
After visiting we decided to check in on Wayne Newton and see what's going on with him. He's
just down the road a mile or so. Did not connect but did get a pic or two for you all (from the
outside of course - watch PBS for a tour of the property and inside).

There you go. Oh, one other thing: it was a pleasant 59 degrees and bright sun today!
