Jerry Jones about to do some housecleaning with the Cowboys.

Following the loss to the Packers and now with a 1-7 record Jerry Jones has little choice but to try and
shake things up with the Cowboys even if it will make no real difference in turning around the team this season.

They looked like they just quit on themselves yesterday.

It is a matter of pride and ego, he doesn't want to be seen as disinterested in where the team is at.

Wade Phillips is gone, everyone knows that, just a matter of when (could be today), some others could be out
the door as well.

hard to believe they are that bad, they were thought to be superbowl contenders just last year....this year they must really stink.....maybe they need T.O. or Randy Moss to spice things up a bit...

If Wade was smart, he'd call in sick today. LOL

Exactly, they all stopped showing up about three weeks ago.

Plain and simple they need new coaching!!! The players are not playing up to their potential and making stupid mistakes. It's the job of the coaches to get the best out of the players and get them playing error free.

The answer is NOT in house. Jason Garrett is the idiot that called that play right before the half in the Washington game. If I was Jerry he would have been gone the next day.

I would love to see Jon Gruden as HC and either Dunngy or Cower as DC. I know that is not going to happen, but I can wish.

Jerry will probably bring in some duffas like Switzer! that's all the F___ we need!!!!

<<< Cowboys officials are still planning a 4 p.m. CT news conference with Phillips. >>>

Not much else to say about Philips. If Jones doesn't fire him now, he'll likely stay the whole season. Some owners don't like to fire a head coach in mid season, no matter what. We'll see what happens, I mean who can predict what Jerry Jones is gonna do?

The dual cordinators will not work. Jerry just proved this w/ Garrett and Wade.

What established NFL coach would work under Jerry? I know it appears to be a rhetorical question but I'm honestly curious.
So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts

He'll find a more assertive coach but it will only last 3-4 years b/c either Jerry or the new coach will get sick of being interfered with.

Maybe Jerry can offer Tom Cable the head coaching job.

Jerry Jones and Al Davis seem to be cut from the same mold with regard to being a "hands on" owner. they hold the reins so tightly that any coach with creditials and a track record of success would never want to coach either the Cowboys or the Raiders because of interfering owners.

At least Cowboy fans can feel good about the fact that they still have the "Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders"image to entertain the fans at home games when the football team is not.

True, and when Jerry gets an established winning coach he forces them out pretty quickly.
