How close are the Greysheet and NumisMedia prices?

Is NumisMedia even in the ballpark? Fair to use as a rough guide? I'm sure it's more accurate than, say... the Red Book, no?

as with each guide- each coin makes a difference. Sometimes its on the money sometimes over sometimes under.

Overall though its definitely a good place to look. Generally within a fair percentage correct-unless the coin is not a regularly traded which could make it far off.

I think it's a good guide, and fairly accurate for regularly traded issues ... as joebb21 stated, a little over, a little under ... depending

For seldom traded issues, it is like any other ... sometimes far removed from reality

I do use it as part of my calculations in pricing, and would recommend it as a guide

“We are only their care-takers,” he posed, “if we take good care of them, then centuries from now they may still be here … ”
