Fast October Special Poppage...SCANS ADDED

Sent on Monday, logged on Wednesday, popped this afternoon. Was hoping for a few 10's on the '78 baseball stars but I suppose 4 10's and a lot of 9's including most of the stars is pretty good for one vending box that I got really cheap.

Nice cards, good job on the '78 Topps cards!

O/T: I know you collect cards of hockey players from Norway, I did a little digging and found out that there are 3 former major league baseball players born in Norway. Maybe you can find some cards of them, here's a link and glad to help!

I'm thinking the '78 Palmer and Munson will both be getting a return trip to CA. I didn't realize that the Hunter 10 was a $75-$80 card until I looked at VCP.

My experience is that if you send in a bunch of cards from the same set or the same era, that you cards get graded much faster. All of your cards were from 1978, so probably only one grader looked at your whole submission. If you would have had a large mix of cards, then you would have waited much longer. I sent in a bunch of 1988-89 Nova's. Hopefully mine will be graded quickly.

I sent in 110 cards from all 4 sports ranging from 1972 to 2010. They were logged in Saturday Oct. 23rd and popped on Oct. 28th.

I've sent in 15 or so subs over the last 2 years with all different numbers and all different mixes of sports and none of them have waited for more than 9 days. Most of them popped in 2-3 days. I think that it has more to do with exactly following the directions they give for submitting, but I could be wrong. It happened once before image

I'd be curious to learn if you've made a career out of whining, or if it's just something you enjoy doing in your spare time.

I guess this is the point in the thread where i am to throw some verbal assualt your way boo....? This is just another poor example of customer service from PSA. That's all. When your the Big Dog (PSA) you do what you want with no consequences. Oh, i forgot to mention the high dollar cards that were to be listed in Memory Lanes upcoming auction which has now been delayed. So yeah, i'm a little B' ochy about it. I even replied to Joe O's e-mail on 10/22 about it... and as of today--no follow up. And i should be shocked? No need to call customer service for "your order is still in processing". No,really?? Getting mad won't get my cards back to me any quicker, but i can sure as hell post about it here!!

    Carew,

I am waiting on some cards too but no where near the duration you are. If you had intentions of selling high end cards I can feel your pain and understand your frustration.

None of mine are for sale so I am just patiently waiting to see what I got.

    Good luck

Yes. Logged in on 9/3, but mailed in August. They are reviews and freebies for exceeding 90% of my 59 and 60 sets. Freebies always take forever. I can't complain-the price is right.

The Hunter should do pretty well and the Atkinson is a pop. 5. One is listed on ebay for $90. I'll sell him mine for $60. The Palmer is definitely getting a return trip to CA.
