Here's my haul for the week. It was a good week for me, I set up at a coin show
last weekend and sold a bunch of fairly common goods and spent the proceeds on all this.
I've wanted a $10 Indian piece for quite a while now.

Need the following OBW rolls to complete my 46-64 Roosevelt roll set:
    1947-P & D; 1948-D; 1949-P & S; 1950-D & S; and 1952-S.
Any help locating any of these OBW rolls would be gratefully appreciated!

Bought this today from the Mint. Their price on this 1.85 ounces of gold was the same (+/-) as buying 18.5 1/10th ouncers from APMEX and about $100 - $120 more (per ounce) than buying a one ouncer unc from APMEX. So, I chose to buy this. image

  • I did OK with finding some decent silver.

I drive by about 100 "cash for gold" places and jewelery stores with "we buy gold" signs out front. (outside sales)

I had been driving by this one for about a year, and finally stopped in, and what do I find: 2 J&M 1 oz and a 5 gram J&M - all for about 57 dollars - a little over melt (i had to pay taxes on 1 because they didn't know me) - I thought this was a nice haul as I had been seeing the J&M 1 ozs. gonig for quite a bit of a premium - and not to mention the premium on the 5 gram bar.

Then, I went to my B&M coin shop haunt today, and I am picking through their odd size bag of silver and found a 5 gram J&M - older style with a smooth back in a bezel - got this for 5 bucks bezel included - it was eight bucks melt - but I got a deal because I decided to invest in some type coins for my 7070 -

In that regards I got an 1814 Large Cent and a 1826 CBH - both about AU 55 - oh by the way, it was my birthday this week, so I splurged on the type.

I know that pics would help - but I still thought I would share!

gdavis, very nice gold coins you have there! image

I just got back from the CoinFest. The bourse was pretty empty (better for me) and most of the dealer were trying to buy more than selling (or maybe they got used to people selling on the first 2 days).
My budget was low as always so I stopped by Wayne Herndon to pick some cheap coins for my type album and my folders
Then I searched for some gold and ended with a Rooster 20 Francs and 1/10 Krug.
