Yeah, the home opener is really a snoozer. What's all the fuss about?

Gave me a scare in the end but the REAL big 3 stepped up. Shaq looked good considering he's almost 40.

I wasn't very impressed by the Heat. If it wasn't for Lebron taking the ball out of his teamates' hands and creating all their offense it wouldn't have been close. DWade was lousy and Bosh was just an afterthought. Just like the crowd was chanting in the end they're OVER-RATED!!!

Still too early for both teams, the Heat will be much better next time.

5-1 now, nice start! Hope they get get Shaq healthy for 45-50 games, not terribly impressed with Jermaine so far.

Bad loss against the Mavs. They just needed to hit their shots at the end.

Round 2 is in the books with the same result...

Celtics opened up a huge lead, LJ took over and brought the game to a misleading close finish, DWade looked weak, and Bosh was just an afterthought. I think the Heat have been exposed and their 5-4 record is looking a lot more typical then most would have assumed.

Rondo is looking better and better as the season goes on! Dare I say MVP???

    GO CELTS!!!

The Heat are an impressive 5-4. Even "dream teams" still need to play some D.

So when they are 40-35, will they still be "working on their team chemistry"?

Ray Allen was just on fire from 3 point land.

Being a Cavs fan it was wonderful watching the Celtics beat up on Miami last night.....it pains me since I am not a Celtics fan either but it shows that the Heat are not a physical enough team yet to win every night......don't yell, it may change but right now they are not that good......also if I remember correctly the Cavs have as many losses as the South Beach team.....

Ray was looking good - all of them were. Long way to go, but it is a nice deep team.

Good point Mike, Miami has nowhere near the depth that the Celtics have.

The C's have to stay healthy and keep their minutes down. This is the best KG has looked in about a year and a half.

they seem prone to overtime when they screw up chances to put lesser teams away...that won't keep the minutes down too well.

yeah they need to start putting teams away, they let everyone make a run

    nice start though

They have trouble closing teams out in the 4th quarter late.

Very quietly, but that has to do with the Sox offseason and the Pats playing well.

Damn, they were leading in that Orlando game. They just need to make sure that does not happen int the playoffs.

Yes, nice win AT Indy, no small feat.

Looks like the Cs and Lakers both got caught looking ahead to Sunday's matchup....Cs get spanked by the Suns, Lakers lose to Kings at home.

The C's could not hit anything against the Suns. Hopefully, they play better against the Lakers.

C's playing well and the new additions make the 2nd team dangerous

Wow, Perk got a nice extension from OKC. Big men are at a big premium -- Dwight Howards next contract will be in the stratosphere.

I am just hoping the additional offense with outweigh the loss in defense and possible loss of team chemistry (i.e. the "Big 4" loved Perkins). Need a healthy Shaq and KG the rest of the season.

anybody else no longer scared of the Heat?....they've proven that they are not good enough to beat the top teams.

<< <i>anybody else no longer scared of the Heat?....they've proven that they are not good enough to beat the top teams. >>

Bulls and Lakers are the only teams that can possibly beat the C's in a series. Even the Spurs are fading.

Right now the Bulls scare me if Shaq can't help us.

Shaq has proven to be unreliable for a long time. Celtics will have to do it with little to no contributions from him. In regards to the Heat....they have nothing beyond the big three. Bulls look tough as Rose appears unguardable due to his strength.

Short handed and trying to keep the old guys healthy for the playoffs by limiting minutes even if it costs a few more games..

Will lose a few more games along the way with this strategy, but like last year hopefully full strength at playoff time then make a run.
