Congrats to the well earned WS championship to the Giants....and all their fans. Cliff lee pitched a great game and made only one mistake. The freak however had a totally dominating performance.
Not to ridicule the win...but did Burrell have the worst WS ever? in history? He was 0-14 with 12 strikeouts I think. Instead of sulking he still cheered his teamates on. That was nice.

<< <i>Congrats Digicat, if you want one of my ticketmaster type ticketsstubs from tonight's game (I've got mine and Maven's and don't mind sharing one), shoot me a PM with your address and I'll eventually get it out to you. We searched one whole section after the game trying to find you one of the nice World Series large season ticket holder type stubs, but I guess everyone kept them or someone else beat us to it. Offer only good to Digicat and not other Giants fans as he was the one that had his thread up all year.
Congrats to Giants fans and especially Digi as our #1 Giants fan around here.
As a Dodger fan living in Nor Cal I have to say I find this Giants team hard to dislike. Some over-achievers, some young guys, some old guys, and some great arms. The salaries for free agent pitchers just went up!

Did you see that look of pure joy and relief on his face after he whiffed and Renteria hit the 3 run homer?
Yeah, Pat was huge in getting the Giants to the post season, then his wheels fell off.
However, he DID manage to cross home plate to score a run on a walk. The only non-pitcher starter who did nothing was the Panda, who never reached base.
Congrats to Giants and their Fans. The team did some awesome things after the All-Star break and were hot right before if my memory serves.
Molina gets a ring too, wonder if that has ever happened before? must have.
Had my champagne after the last out, too I was going to pop it during the top of the ninth, but my wife stopped me. I was counting chicks in Anaheim in 2002.
I woke my son (who is turning 6 next week) up to watch the last inning with me. He made me promise to do so. The funny thing is, he didn't even remember watching it this morning.
Figured you (and other Giants fans) would be interested in this article. This is from the local hometown paper where I grew up, which is also where Bruce Bochy is from.

That is a solid gesture
I really thought the Rangers had more gas in the tank, but just goes to show, anything can and often times does happen.
Like I said, it passes quickly...don't miss the pararde...even if you gotta call in sick.

I love the "Must C" bits on MLB's site. They show the play 3 times, with the Fox guys, the SF home radio guys, and the TX home radio guys.
Dave Flemming's call is the 2nd replay in the video. Classically unpolished.

He used to do the Pawtucket Red Sox games, I used to listen to him all the time.

Its amazing how many fans always knock the NL West and how many sports writers were writing back in September that someone had to win the West. LOL
It looked like your pitching staff peaked at the right team and your rest of the team did what they needed to win it all. Very well deserved!
