That's what the "buying Gold here today" people that setup at local small town stores are paying for 90%. I thought it was mighty nice that they raised their buy price from 4X face. I guess they do have hearts after all........

There are tons of yellow signs scattered ALL over town advertising them. There is a small Salon right across the street from me that are hosting them starting yesterday thru tomorrow. I stopped by over at lunch and asked about the 90%. Didn't ask about the buy prices for gold.

    The firehall near me host a similiar operation every few months with very low prices. I thought about setting a sign in my yard but then thought better. Not a wise idea to advertise at your home that you buy silver and gold

    Why is capitalism the problem? Would it be better if the government set prices for everything?

    Twice a year similar folks pay a visit to my local Holiday Inn. Last spring they were paying 8X face for 90%. Ag was about $18 then so I didn't see it as that bad an offer.

    Now a nearby shop runs ads in the local paper about once a month. I kid you not, this is one of their regular headlines: "Paying 40X face for pre-1933 gold"! image
