It's really amazing how vintage has dried up on eBay. There's almost nothing out there when excluding BINs. I usually don't bother looking through BINs because it's a waste of time going through 95 auctions to find the 5 or so that are priced reasonably. Reasonably would be defined as prices lower than the peak price from 2003.

2001 Porsche 996 Turbo, I got it in late 2008 with 7800 miles on it and now have a little over 23,000. I love the car. Here is a pic from the day I drove it away from the original owner.
It is all good, it happens every where we go and especially out at night after many have had drinks so I am used to it. We have been together since college.
Yep, we met in International business class, I will never forget the first test results the professor is handing out the grades and she got the highest one. I about died. I thought it had to be a mistake. It wasn't.
Bobby I have many family members who went there. I knew I would not do well up there with all the temptation. I stayed in Orlando and worked hard in college and worked for a bank and that is how things opened up for me. Definately one of the best moves I have ever made.
Bill it is no secret I can't spell. I have never been a good speller and never will be. If there is a spell check feature on this please point it out.

Cool car but absolutely of no use for me. Family of four and some of the worst road conditions in the winter as we're one of the last roads in the area to get plowed so anything I own has to be a 4X4.

Get a Carrera 4S, has AWD so you will be set! Do not overfeed your children and you could stuff them into the "backseat" also.

That's right. What's wrong with you guys.
Everyones needs to accept that dpeck has a degree he was never given and acknowledge that his Porche and wife prove he knows what he is talking about.

I sold this a few years ago after keeping it for about six years as a daily driver....also had a s2000, miata, and jeep (still have the miata and jeep) -- but the other three stayed at home every day it didn't rain main reason I sold it was because I was tired of all of the negative attention it brought everywhere I went.
As far as college...I'm an English major...so no fancy schools for me...but when I was an actor I went to Lee Strasberg in NYC...got a close up in John Adams HBO...go me.

You shot Bambi. How cruel.
Haven't hunted for about 30 years. Last time I went had one in my sites and turned off the safety, pulled the trigger and nothing. The old man came down from where he was standing and asked if I had seen anything and told him what happened. He proceeded to to exactly what I did and gun fired. As corny as it sounds I took that as a sign.
Don't worry, they don't go hand in hand. If you have a nice example of the card in your avatar you are doing just fine. I happen to like them and some do and many don't. That is what makes a market.
That we don't claim a dozen or more times to hold a degree that is not true, which you did multiple times to show you were right.
That your car or wife, is not related to marketing cards, prices of wrestling cards, using sniper services, or any of the many other reasons you seem to believe that helps your case in.

It is not what I claimed, okay. I made a GPA that is .10 less then I claimed, quite frankly it was an honest mistake and in reality who gives a crap. I had not looked at the thing a long time and my income has nothing to do with my GPA.
I have a degree in Economics just like I said. Move on dude I have nothing to prove to you.
<< <i>back on topic here.....yes, my sales are down too........wayyyyy down....... >>
My card sales are way down, but then again I don't sell or collect too many cards at the moment...but as I said earlier in the thread...my book sales for October are lower than last year at the same time.
For everybody who says their sales are down, I'm just curious, are your items listed at BINs or auctions?
My sales have been up slightly, and moving in that direction. Getting ready for x-mas and looking forward to the next month or so in sales.
On the other hand, I have made some amazing buys lately.
I think it depends on what you sell, meaning if you are offering what everyone else is, you wont sell much. I stock tons of PSA DNA autos, 1/1's, PSA 10s, certified game used equipment, high school yearbooks, and mostly things like that. I do pretty well in meteorites and have a lifetime selling stock perhaps...went a little overboard. Things you can't find a dozen people selling do well.

lol, believe it or not -- the early miatas are a blast to drive!

Had one hanging around here a couple years back. Couldn't figure out what all the screeching was until it flew by and landed on our fence.
Had this little one come thru the yard awhile back.
Would have loved to have gotten some pics being in the yard but by the time I got the camera it was in the road wandering around.
Latest wildlife shot I have is of the partridge that slammed into one of the windows the other day. Window survived but the bird didn't.
