I know these usually have some premium, but this one kind of went through the roof. I bought a similar one back in April of the Bay for $27. This one closed at $143.

It's not a common "silver round" but a very collectible with numismatic value "silver art round." Lots of art bars & rounds sell for similar premiums when they become available on eBay, which btw does not happen very often. You got a steal for your $27.
"Bongo drive 1984 Lincoln that looks like old coin dug from ground."
I agree calling this piece a "silver round" surely wasn't accurate. I'm a big fan of all J&M products but was really surprised to see this kind of price. I've seen many sell in the $30-$40 range over of the past several months.
Agblox, thanks for posting the link to that set!!!! I had no idea different denominations were produced. My searches have always been limited to the bullion category and I've only come across the 1 oz pieces there. This has been added to my want list. I did see the Sky Lab set - pretty cool too.
I have the 1978 version. Serial number 2080. Has a different figure on the obverse. Purchased from Agblox for $45 a couple of years ago. Very nice piece.

JM always brings high premiums. You should have seen my last month's auctions for few half oz silver bars!
