Very poor effort against St. Louis. I thought the winning streak showed a glimpse of what they can do. But until some consistency comes on the defensive side we are all in for an up and down ride. I love his effort but Nick Boynton is a turn style. Duncan Keith doesn't seem to be even close to the top of his game, maybe too many minutes.
the hawks have one of the top power play units and one of the worst penalty kills. Thats what costs them the game tonight to the stars watch for quenneville to put turco in and another loss could be expected
Just back from vacation. Looking forward to some Blackhawk Hockey tonight. Must win would be an understatement. This team needs to get hotter than sht in order to make the playoffs.
On a mini roll. Big game against Minn. tonight. Then again, they're all gonna be important from here on out. Not sure what Campoli brings to the table, was hoping for a more offensive move. Maybe he'll be better on a better team.
absolutely, why not give credit to St. Louis for a goal that wasn't actually a legit goal. I'll also give credit to the refs for allowing Kubina to drop an elbow on Bolland sans penalty...and the phantom DOG penalty on Hjammer. Let's also give credit to the biggest group of uteri known as the Lightning blueline core. I suspect Brewer, Ohlund, and Clark are all day to day with their latest bouts of their respective yeast infections.
