Already found one Walking Liberty Half this year. Never expected to find a second.

Got permission to hunt an older house in town. After an hour or so with only a couple of wheats to show, out pops a 1943 merc. Alright! About 20 minutes later the ol' Etrac is screaming a quarter at about 4 inches. "Make way - possible silver quarter coming through!" It wasn't in the initial plug, so I after taking out additional dirt, a large silver coin shows - turns out to be a 1918-S Walking Liberty. Ended with 4 wheats total.

HH all!

Outstanding!!! WLH's are a favorite of mine.... one of the truly great American coin designs. Not like the trash the mint puts out today. Cheers, RickO
