Clad? I thought these were silver?

Ran across this auction this morning and the title and description says clad, but aren't these 90% silver? image

    They're 90% just like the 1982 GW half. They're the only 2 modern commem halves in silver.

    Yes they are silver. Looks like a good price for that one! I think there are a lot of individuals out there that think ALL the half dollars are clad, and now aware of the silver issues.

    When I mentioned it went for a good price.... that comment was based on the bid price for the commem, which is $11- $15. Not sure if the packaging went with it, but regardless $10 was a probably not too bad of a deall.

    The George Washingtons are bid at $7 - $8; basically silver melt.

    The GW's at $10 is not a good deal.
