These cards are going to crash even faster and harder than the 93 finest refractors. It's the same dealers pumping out the 10's/9.5's with an even smaller collector base.

These cards and prices remind me a lot of what happened to McGwire, Clemens, Bonds, etc. etc.

Hogan used steroids just like the names I just mentioned.

No one cares if wrestlers use steroids.

    I agree.

    Good for you.

I am still confused how you guys are once again so surprised these are selling well.

There are less then 2000 sets of each and many believe much less.

You guys seem to think you are economics gurus; how do you explain the imbalance here between supply and demand.

2000 sets in 1982 does not translate into 2000 sets in 2010

In a few weeks you will see my next submission pop and there will be some 6's and 7's. You will soon understand these are so tough in strong condition.

There are a ton of cards that would grade 4 and 5 out there trust me.
  • 2000 is not that rare, and it is unlikely they made less.

They might have sold less through the magazines as you and others have stated....but they did not set the press up each time they sold a set...a very expensive thing to do.

In fact, there is very little cost difference in making 100 sets, and 10,000 sets. It is the setup where the time/cost is.
Collecting PSA graded Steve Young, Marcus Allen, Bret Saberhagen and 1980s Topps Cards.
Raw: Tony Gonzalez (low #'d cards, and especially 1/1's) and Steve Young.

Actually Steve a lot people do/did care. The people who looked up to Hogan found out he was a steroid user might have had something to say about it at the time. I remember it was a big deal when he admitted to taking steroids. I remember people saying. "yeah work hard, eat your *special* vitamins, and say your prayers." Maybe you don't care, but I can assure you others do and did care.

Personally I careless for it. I do see similarities between McGwire, Bonds, and Clemens far as cards and pricing over the years. I am sure these 800+ dollar Hogan cards will end up like the Big Mac, Rocket, and Bonds cards.

These cards aren't that rare IMO. I still have multiple 800 ct boxes of 82-85. They are Multiple complete sets. I bought them all super cheap in the late 80s. I guess it's time to pull them out of storage and sell sell sell.

Trying to control or corner a market of a card or set is silly. It will 9 times out of 10 bite you in the end...

If you have a lot of cards bust them out and sell. I only want your 82 and 83. You seem to think you have some good stuff so show it and if we can agree on a price we are good.

I know for fact there is no way you have these in mint or better.
