Not a surprise. He's 90. It's sad, but not unexpected. He was in San Diego at a signing in '05. Glad I got him then w/ a couple of pix. Physically he looked ok but he seemed a little fuzzy. He wasn't at the HOF ceremony this summer blowing on his harmonica. As a kid in the '50's he was my favorite player.

Jasen, That is really good to hear. I was troubled by the look of that card. I'm making the journey up to Chicago in November to meet my hero, as I have never seen Stan the Man in person. It would be sad to have my only live memory of Stan Musial be one that has him struggling to sign his name. He has such a pretty autograph.
