I remember reading this a few years ago, and I just came across the copy I had printed out. The picture alone is worth a thousand words. Pay particular attention to the timeline from Wikipedia that is shown in the article.

The first one is a 100 Million Marks from August 1923. The second is 500 Million Marks from September 1923.

I have these hanging next to my framed 3 day Woodstock tickets. Everyone who sees them knows something
about Woodstock. (even my teenage daughter). Everybody on the other hand asks about the Weimar Marks

So you're trying to tell us that in a little over 600 years, the currency was devalued by that much?!? Wow. It is pretty amazing to contemplate.
PS: I have some Notgeld tokens from 1922 and 1923 which show a rise from a few Marks to I forgot how many hundreds of thousands of Marks. It's pretty shocking.
