I buy but not that much, I sell a little and swap silver for gold too.
I just don't know if this is the right time to sell some gold I bought last year and buy it back when it retreats...my only doubt is IF it retreats.
I don't have invested much in PM, so few hundred bucks will make a difference in my budget.

I'm selling off my remaining Large Cents to finance some hoped for additions from Heritage.
Other than that I'm wrapping up the wood supply - heating season starts in just over a month.

I heat my house with wood. I have room controlled electric heat, but do not use it. I have an upstairs and downstairs
insert that blows out the hot air, and usually burn anywhere from four to six chords of wood a winter. I usually tarp
it only when the rain is coming, and then take the tarps off when the sun comes out. Not a hassle, as I love dry wood.

Heating with wood is a bit of work but it surely beats heating with electricity. I have about 10 cords of hardwood whacked and stacked in long rows. They're tarped only at the very top to keep the snow off while allowing for airflow and sunlight. Those 10 cords will handle this coming winter and the winter of 2011-2012. Keeping two years on hand means everything we burn is 18-21 months old. Nothing beats dry wood for hot, quick starting fires. One fireplace insert heats our entire 1600 square feet.
The money saved each winter is like a free ounce of gold.
