Next MONTH? So he's saying that if he wins, the best-case scenario is that he'll be paying for it two weeks after the auction ends?

    3 months from now.

    Question for RAW card sellers?
I recently sold a raw card on Ebay. 1954 Topps Willie Mays NM PSA?
The buyer sent it off to PSA and PSA received a grade of 2 MK. Basically, do raw card sellers guarantee that PSA will grade the same or is that a given?

I love it!! The ironic thing is, if that card winds up in a PSA/SGC holder sometime in the future, someone is going to be eating alot of crow!! And don't tell me PSA doesn't make mistakes, because I have had cards come back MINSZREQ come back later as PSA 9 (MINT).......just food for thought......

I think you've missed the point.

Edited to add... that I think you've missed the point intentionally.

No one is saying PSA doesn't make mistakes, the issue is that you tried sold a card you send in as EOT on ebay Raw, then when the Buyer wants a refund you go off. You knew once it came back, and you want someone else to pay for a card you could not get slabbed.

I didn't know it didn't get slabbed....I took it out of the reject CS1 as soon as I got it back, because it didn't look trimmed to me....I was gonna sub it to SGC, and laid it down and forgot about it.......I got raw cards all over the place....Hunt Auctions, Heritage, etc.....they all sell raw cards everyday! I just totally forgot I sent it in the get graded......I didn't know I had to whenever I sold a raw card......if you bought a raw card from Hunt Auctions (one of the lots where they sell 50-100 cards at a time) what would you do? What if I don't WANT to send in all 50-100+ cards I win from Heritage auctions in to be graded??

I think you, Gary Sheffield and Barry Bonds should all join a bowling team together.

Personally, I don't have much of a problem with you selling the card raw. But I can't believe you would think the majority of this board would be stupid enough to believe that you stumbled into a NM/MT '55 Bowman Mays in a CS2 that was sitting on your baseball card shelf, and then thought to yourself 'Well,'I don't remember if I ever tried to get this graded, but I'll just assume that it's never made a trip to Newport Beach. And while I know that this card would be worth significantly more in a PSA 8 holder than it's worth raw, I'll just go ahead and sell it raw anyway'.

Seriously, that makes no sense whatsover. If you had 'forgotten' that you had ever sent it in then you would have sent it in to PSA again before selling it raw. I mean, come on. Don't treat people like they're morons.

Well, I have a bunch more cards I may sell raw...Heritage has some sweet lots (ALL raw material) going off tonight......or should I send them all in to be graded? And yes...I actually have more than one Mays 55 Bowman Card.......I have ALOT of raw vintage cards......I have cards in every nook and cranny in my place......

    Jackson

    Jenkins

I can't get the other Jackson to come up...too old....

What? I don't know that I've ever read a post that made less sense. You remember taking it out of the reject CS1 but somehow didn't know that it didn't get slabbed?

I give up....... yes..I forgot....I am scatterbrained sometimes!!! Just ask Burke!! I accidentally sent him a card I sold on EBay!

Basically...I made a mistake! How many times do I have to say I'm sorry??? Have my raw card priviledges been taken away?? Must I submit EVERY raw card I have to PSA?

I think this might be the FIRST time you said "sorry" Bobby boy. You tried to dupe a customer, and then acted as if HE was the "bad guy" by starting a thread on that return. You arent a scatterbrain, but rather a scumbag.

    Bobby

Other threads and posts have already confirmed that you knew the card was trimmed when you put it up for sale on ebay.

At this time IMO you should just let it go. The more you say the deeper you get.

Even Gecko is calling you a scumbag for goodness sakes!

Drop it man. Ignore anything that you see regarding this matter.

Why do you keep comparing yourself to Heritage? Believe me there are alot of returns from auction houses. Good ones will allow it even if they say they don't. Their good name is worth more than one card. Mastro didn't allow returns or fought very hard to prevent them, and look at them. I would say you should compare yourself more to Mastro not Heritage.
