<< <i>Good luck though, it'd be cool to see you guys make a run like the Cards did a couple years back. >>
Yeah ... that's the ticket. Charlie WhiteHEARSE = the 2nd coming of Kurt Warner.
What an embarrassment for the NFL. The pathetic Seahawks are 3-7 when playing teams outside the NFC Worst ... err I mean West.
The Hawks should respectfully decline to participate in the playoffs and spare their fans from having to endure a humiliating home blowout dismantling ...
As a Ram's fan I was really 50/50 on last night's game. Would have been happy for the win but the loss is ok too as better draft position and better schedule next year. I think the Ram's and Niners will battle for the NFC West next year. Next year 8-8 or maybe 9-7 should get it done!
This should be interesting. Seahawks better play well early. Hawks are clearly not a team capable of mounting a comeback with their offense as weak as it is.
Hasselbeck or Whitehurst? That's the dilemma for coach Carroll. Reminds me of when 49er coach Bill Walsh used to have to decide between Joe Montana and Steve Young.
Only difference is that Hasselbeck hasn't really been a legitimate NFL starter since 2007 and Whitehurst never will be ...
Wolfbear, You're a very truthful person....unfortunately. Hasselbeck is horrible and done. I believe with Whitehurst's mobility he actually gives them the best chance to win. With Matt starting, I wonder what what the Vegas line is for Charlie to enter the game.....I'm thinking 2nd QTR.
This should be fun. The Seahawks will have to have no turnovers and get about 2-3 to have a chance.
Seattle's 28th ranked offense isn't going to win the game by beating the Saint's 7th ranked defense, so if the Hawks are going to get it done they're going to have to do it in an unconventional manner like :
In week 7 when the Saints were 13 point favorites vs Cleveland, yet the Browns crushed them 30 - 17 by creating 4 turnovers and shutting down their running game.
In week 3 the Chargers were 6 point favorites at Seattle, but the Hawks beat them by creating 5 turnovers and putting up 2 special team TDs.
I'm just hoping for a game that isn't over by halftime ...

Yes, it's kind of hard to win when you have no defense on the field, LOL..

One of the best games I've ever covered (me on the left). I predicted a one point win but not scoring 41 points. Wow! Lucky enough to be in the end zone on Lynch's TD run. My ears are still ringing at 11:25 at night. Like Pete Carroll I can care less what people have been saying about how bad the Seahawks are. Hoping to travel next week to Chicago or Atlanta. You could have powered all of Seattle for a monh with all the energy in that stadium today. Go Seahawks!
Wilson's composure in the pocket is amazing. Several times against the 'Skins, they got tremendous pressure (and yes, he took his sacks), but when he had minimal protection and that blitz was held back...no panic. One of those plays Miller stayed in protection until the last moment, broke off, Wilson found him, and 15 yards later a 3rd and very long was erased.
In his 3rd year, Carroll makes it hard for me to call anyone else a better coach in Seahawks history. His ability to evaluate talent and plug them into his defense is leaps and bounds above what Holmy did while here. I don't think this year is a flash in the pan, and this team can be sustained
I have to agree on Wilson being very calm out there. I was on the field and he was the most composed guy out there. His feather like passes hit guys perfectly in stride. How about him running down field to block for Lynch? Wow! Hope he doesn't get clocked doing that. A note about the field from my view. That playing surface was a absolute joke, I've seen high school fields with better playing conditions and I saw grounds crew guys spray painting part of the field green to cover bare spots before the game probably so it would look good on TV. The middle part of the field was like a soft ground up moss mess that was uneven and dangerous. Next to the sidelines toward the middle was hard with not much grass. It was terrible and I believe contributed to the injuries of players.
I made a TV appearance after the game when Sherman and RGIII met. I'm on the right with blue sleeves. Off to Atlanta on Thursday. Take care guys.
I cant remeber which announcer said it, but he plays just like Fran Tarkenten...thats about as good a compliment you can get if your quarterbacks a scrambler with a cannon.

"I wonder how many time it will take before "college" Carroll will learn to take the points when they are there for the taking......."
Or....how NOT to take the points. When they were trailing in the 4th towards the end of the game, maybe Lynch should NOT have scored so quickly. #1 - They were first and goal from the 2 #2 - There was still time on the clock I remember earlier this year when Coughlin instructed Eli and his backs to take a knee at the 1...for the exclusive purpose of not giving the other team time on the clock.

I was shouting "TOO MUCH TIME!!!!" when they were running the play. Waste a run to the other hash, or take a knee as you mention...but man, 30 seconds left...W T F'n F?!
One more game....one more. Then a bye, and home field advantage all the way to the SB.
Anyone think an NFC team can beat Seattle in Seattle? I guess the one team that worries me is the Carolina Panthers. The Cam Factor. Oddly, that was the same team that stood between Seattle and the SB in 2005. Could be a repeat?
Go Hawks!

Always looking for original, better date VF20-VF35 Barber quarters and halves, and a quality beer.
I wonder if and should they play to win the last game if it's already sewn up this week. Although Arizona may have something on the line and would virtually cause Seattle to go all out to win. We will see. This could be Seattle's year. I wouldn't mind seeing Seattle in the SB and the other team not named Denver....that offensive juggernaut just scares me.

True LOL. But i meant no team with a losing record deserves to host a playoff game. Or even earn a playoff spot.

So much for a team with a losing record not being worthy of the playoffs.

The field even looked bad on TV. Very bad. It's sad if that had anything to do with Chris Clemons, or RG3.
Good luck in Atlanta.
