BBL - commandocollectibles and wealthebooks

Good day and weekend,
I hit the BIN on a Gretzky OPC rookie on eBay last week listing and after looking into the seller’s recent transactions found that he sold this counterfeit to a buyer counterfeit
.
After thinking it over I determined it was best to ask the seller to cancel the transaction as I was uncomfortable sending payment to someone who blatantly passed a counterfeit off as authentic.
This morning I found that three of my eBay listings were sold totaling approximately $520. The money wasn't in my paypal account (which was odd considering I thought I had marked immediate payment required for these items) but the buyer was from Washington (name Jay on invoice - commandocollectibles signs messages with "J") and I suspected it could be the same person.
I first looked at the user ID wealthebooks which made the purchases. Through their feedback I found this listing for a Carkner signed puck
. I then looked in commandocollectibles current listings and found this item
At first glance the autographs on the pucks appear to be exactly the same, but they are actually slightly different. It’s practicable to speculate that the seller commandocollectibles is purchasing legit autographs and forging them in person.
To further support this idea wealthebooks purchased some game tape, and commandocollectibles neutral/negative feedback shows that he has sold some bootleg copies of media. It’s also possible to wonder if he is making copies of game tape and selling them on eBay.
I sent a cancel request to the buyer wealthebooks and they "accidentally" clicked the wrong button for the $239.99 item, which did not give me a final value fee credit. Coincidence that they "clicked the wrong button" on the item closest to the $250 Gretzky I hit the BIN on?
I have contacted eBay and they are investigating wealthebooks and commandocollectibles activity. They also issued the FVF credit to my account for the $239.99 item.
Just want to share this experience. BTW - the listings wealthebooks purchased have no correlation with sports collectibles - they were an RC car and two RC planes.
You may want to add these usernames to your BBL.
Thanks,
Patrick

We all ask that you stay off of the speed when you are posting.
Let me get this straight, you, a known seller of the Gretzky OPC counterfeit as real, is having a problem that a seller might have sold you a counterfeit, although you have shown no evidence to suggest it is and were knowledgeful on the card before purchase, but instead have shown two unrelated items, and have further reasoned, again despite any evidence to suggest such that...
"It’s practicable to speculate that the seller commandocollectibles is purchasing legit autographs and forging them in person."
Say, what?

Let this irony stand against the selling and distributing of counterfiet cards.

What you are implying (in the bold above) is that I am a known con-artist -- which is not right.
The card I hit the BIN on, according to the scan he provided, is authentic.
Upon further review I noticed that he indeed did sell a counterfeit as the real thing to another buyer for $275. I contacted that buyer on eBay and informed him that the card he purchased is a counterfeit. Because the seller committed fraud I chose not to complete the transaction.
The problem I have with this seller is that he used an alternate ID to buy $520 worth of non-related Remote Control items. I don't know what his intent was for this, could have been feedback extortion, maybe he just wanted me to be stuck with fees...whatever his reason, the transactions were made in a retaliatory way.
As for the speculation, that's up to everybody on their own. He uses the alternate ID to purchase old game tape/footage and commandocollectibles to sell reproduced game tape/footage. The auto puck, it seems, was something he purchased off his alternate ID and used as a template to forge the signed puck currently in his inventory.

I'm OK with how this turned out to be honest. Everything worked out fine for me. Fees were returned and eBay is investigating him...I hope.
As far as the distribution of counterfeit cards, I don't see a problem selling them if you already have them, just as long as they are clearly stamped so that a future buyer is not scammed. I've been guilty of letting a few of these go without a stamp or mark of any kind (less than five to trusted members here), and have never produced any or know of anybody who does. I have no idea how they are even made.

<< <i>It has been linked here several times where you sold a Gretzky OPC counterfeit as real. I am not implying anything. I am re-stating something that has been shown on the board several times. You are a known seller of the Gretzky OPC counterfeit as real. >>
Absolutely, 100% false.

I never lied about the few I gave away unstamped. I did it, it happened, and it was a mistake - regardless of the recipient.

<< <i>Oh good, more discussion about the Gretzky reprints. >>
The Gretzky rookie just happens to be one of my favorite cards and everytime I post anything to do with Gretzky somebody has to mention Gretzky fakes.
.........
And then there are the few who like to make libel comments (in this case Meteorite).
The message board is supposed to be a place where collectors can come together and talk/share their experiences. In the case here, this thread's purpose is to provide anybody in the future who may have questions about the seller "commandocollectibes" and/or "wealthebooks" the thread will come up through a search on google or here on the forum.
Also it is a heads up in case anybody would like to add them to their BBL.
That's the purpose here on Collector's Universe. It's not to bully people, stalk their internet activity, contact their bosses, spread libelous comments, steal pictures from their facebook account to photoshop and repost here, or make mirror mock threads which have nothing to do with sports cards and memorabilia.

Perhaps you don't understand the word libel. Anyone on this board can call you a seller of Gretzy OPC fakes...as you have sold Gretzy OPC fakes. That is a statement of fact.
You should be embarrassed of your past, and of your present for slamming a seller, while only providing for evidence, he sold a puck like one someone else bought. Might the seller be fishy? Maybe...but you have not shown he is. You are the one being libel.

Plus you say you contacted the other buyer of the fake card. Question had he left feedback for that card already?
<< <i>Did not know Ebay ever told anyone they are investigating anyone, Ebay does very little investigating of anyone and they sure won't tell you.

Don't even give Mullins a second of your time. He is a know seller and buyer of counterfeit Gretzkys and is only jealous this other guy did a better job then he did. He got his auctions turned in many times is probably the one actually being investigated.

Have I sold or given as gifts Gretzky fakes? Yes. Have I pawned them off as the real thing? No. You said in this thread that I am a con-artist who sold Gretzky fakes to people in a scam. That's libelous.
You should be embarrassed for not reading my posts and/or jumping to conclusions. That "someone else" that bought that puck is the same guy selling the other. There is, without doubt, that this seller has scammed another buyer (by selling the fake for $275) and it is very likely he is doing the same with his autographs.
But of course you just want to take a few jabs here and there without knowing what you're hitting.
