    Hope you're feeling better very soon, Jim;

Jim was one of the first Board Members to welcome me.

I hope they get the SOB's who did that to him !!

Terrible news. I too hope Jim recovers fully and the scumbag perps are brought to justice.
This is just another reason for fellow B/M dealers to be extra vigilant and security minded. When we are closed or before we open, NO ONE gets in unless we know them well.
End of day can be a particularly dangerous time... bear in mind that before long we will also be closing up and going home in the dark as the days are getting shorter. That can make us more desirable targets for thieves.

Very sad news. I don't know Jim well aside from his posts and a couple PMs. I would not hesitate to do business with him and hope to have the opportunity.

    His speedy recovery is paramount.

  • It's sad to read about this. Any time an honest person that works to pay for what they need or want has something like this happen it is sad.
My best wishes for Jim D. Not pleasent thoughts for the lowlifes that did this.

Great idea Alan. He did sell me a cool 1849 quarter a few months back and I would love to buy some more from him.

I attended the Moore County Coin Club (North Carolina) meeting this evening where Jim is always in attendance. But understandably, he did not make the meeting this evening.

No new news on Jim's condition or whether the police are close to nabbing the perps.

    not good enough.

when caught they need to have a hand cut off, they'll think twice about doing it again. Simple and should be cheaper then a few years behind bars.

Letem do it again and the other hand comes off.

Wow, I hadn't seen this until today. Hoping for a speedy recovery and I hope the dirtbags get caught and put away.
  • I think if they catch these theives they should make them work at the mint for FREE... since they robbed someone of money...
then when not working they stay in prison for a long, long time... But that other person's suggestion of making them enouchs was also good....

Seriously, I do hope they catch these lowlifes... & do put them away for good...
Those who are collecting SILVER... will be wealthy shortly!!
